So I realized just how little I actually post in this thing....oh well. I could say that I'll probably start posting more, but we all know that isn't the case.

Anyway, on a whim, I decided I want to go to AC. Anyone have any extra crash space? :P

Been meaning to get around to posting about last weekend, so here I am, finally.

Basically, last weekend was GRATUITOUS AMOUNTS OF ENER-- err..I mean...a lot of fun. Headed on down to Central Florida on thursday for what's started to become a monthly visit. :P

Drove from Crestview to Bushnell to pick up katarusan , and from there we headed on over to the hotel in Orlando. Taru, you make roadtrips a blast. No doubt about it., even if I do drive 'like a grandma' Spent most of my time hanging out with Taru (obviously), and we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa on friday. Had an awesome time there. We hit all the rides we wanted to several times each, and Taru finally got to see Katonga. <3 Katonga. If you've never been...see the show. Simply amazing. (I want the soundtrack, now)

Saturday evening was Elliott's Winter Carnival. Once again, crazy amounts of fun were had. I mingled quite a bit with some of the guys from Suncoastfurs on anthrochat, you guys were amazing. I also got to suit a bit (the mud completely destroyed my footpaws for a while there.) I think the highlight of the evening was seeing Indi in my suit....giggling. There goes my reputation. :P

Sunday, when we woke up it was time to swing by the hotel room and shower, then head out to the airport to pick up The Lizard Rat. jouva was also tagging along, as he needed a ride back to Yappy's.  Jouva was a lot of fun to hang with for a while there, until the bastard poured out pizza into my new car! What a jerk! (He know's im kidding. After all, it's SPORTS!)

After picking TLR up from the airport, and trying to find him for 45 minutes, we made our way back to Yappy's for the Funday Pawpet Show. Once again, I had an awesome time, and a lot of fun with my subservient with taru, and thank the pawpet crew for allowing me to visit. :D You guys rock!

There's just way too many stories from this weekend to even start describing them in here, but I wanted to know that if I met you, talked to you at all, bought you lunch, let you ruin my new car, gave you a ride, let you kick me in the face while trying to sleep, suited with you, dealt with your druken stupor, etc...it was YOU that made this weekend an awesome time, and I thank you for it. :D

Next stop, FWA!

And Kataru: You've quickly become my best friend, and I couldn't imagine having nearly as much fun without you.  Can't wait to hang with you again at Megaplex!

So, I'm one of those people who gets completely sucked into the spirit of Christmas. I love most everything about the holiday! : D

That said, I'm crazy about sending out Christmas Cards and spreading the joy, much as I love receiving cards. For a few cents + the price of a stamp, it's amazing how much joy you can bring someone. :D

I got quite a few friend-adds lately, and I just wanted to thank everyone! :p
Hopefully you won't be TOO turned off by any random ramblings I may post here from time-to-time.

Most of all, I wanted to thank everyone for all the awesome comments I got after going to FPS. You guys are too awesome, and whether you really do stand behind your compliments, or not, it's appreciated. :D

Also, I have had a few people asking what conventions I will be attending in the near future, and this is what I have going on FOR SURE, and more may be added:

FWA ,  Megaplex,  Anthrocon are all that I have set in stone for now, though there is a chance that I may make one or two more. Anything before February, though, is out of the question, unfortunately.

Well, I made it back home today after a great weekend. I posted earlier about how tankweiler, indi_jackal, and I went to Busch Gardens, so I won't go into that again. Sunday however, was awesome as well.
I did hit Busch Gardens one more time before heading towards Kissimmee. After checking into my hotel...I relaxed a little bit, and then headed out to Yappy's house for the Funday Pawpet Show. Woot!

I did hit a snag on the way there when one of my contacts decided it did not want to be in my eye any more...but oh well. :p

I had an awesome time just hanging out and watching the show (congrats on $10k!) and a blast doing subservient. Jouva makes awesome food. Much love for that. :p

All in all, the thing I really need to say is this:

Today, I met up with indi_jackal, tankweiler, and (later in the day) Ricky for a fun-filled day at Busch Gardens. We met up outside the Montu roller coaster right after the opening of the park and stayed until almost close. I had a blast hanging with you guys, and hope to do it again soon! :D

Highlights of the day:

* Riding Kumba's front seat twice in a row, without even having to leave the seats.
* Sheikra, totally floorless. I didn't think it would make much of a difference, but it is such a HUGE improvement.
* Segway-Jackal? :p

* Tank's otter being retrieved by a worker at Montu

Anyway, once again, I had a blast, and now I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Remember, make me do random crap on the pawpet show. :p

Letsee...in the week ahead, I have an exam in Calculus, an exam in Earth Science, an Exam in Programming, my term paper due in history, a unit exam in history, a programming lab, all while working shorthanded shifts at Best Buy.

Come Friday, though, I get a little bit of relaxation! I'll be heading down to Orlando for my Campus visit to the University of Central Florida, I'm heading to my hotel in Tampa after that, a place pretty close to Busch Gardens. Then I'm in for exciting times at one of my favorite theme parks. w00t! If things stick to the plan, I'll be meeting up with tankweiler for some good times at the park! (Awesome to see you on FPS last night, btw!)

Sunday night, I'll be heading over to yappyfox's place for my Subservient appearance on the Funday pawpet Show. It's also the telethon show! Donate mass amounts of money to them. They'll love you forever!

Whee! Long time, no post. It's amazing how much I use my livejournal account to respond to friends, but completely neglect my own journal. :p

Anyway, a few things that have been going on in my life lately:

College: Gah! Yay for midterms all over the freakin' place. Calculus, Web Programming, American History, and Programming in C++ are out of the way with just my Earth Science exam (the killer) left to go. After that, I have a few days to do a 4 page book review for history. All in all, busy but not TOO bad.

I got my time confirmed off from work for the weekend of Nov. 9-12. I'll be heading down to Orlando for a campus visit to the University of Central Florida. While I'm down there, I plan on going to the Pirates Dinner Adventure, and heading to Tampa for Busch Gardens on Saturday!
I'll be staying on I-drive. Yay tourist traps. :p

Anyway, after my campus visit, and an awesome day at Busch, I'm all set for visiting the Funday Pawpet Show on 11/11. I'll be on as a subservient, so watch, join in the fun, and make me do all kinds of crazy stuff!

Other news:

I'll be attending FWA and AC in 2008 for sure. I was going to staff FWA, but about 6 of my friends from the RPG Maker Magazine (a website I admin) decided to hit the con. I'll still be volunteering at the con, but I plan to take it easy, away from a full-time staff position this time, so that I could maximize time with these friends that I will probably never see in person again. :p

So wow....It's been a wild time for a couple days here.
Coming in from work the other night, and crossing the mid bay bridge, I had a complete blowout on my left-front tire. This caused me to temporarily lose control and almost head straight for the wall. Luckily I was able to regain control, and correct before I did go over. I managed to pull my truck up to the Admin building, but was not able to get the spare down because for some reason, I didn't have the key that it required (never have had a key to the spare. Not since I bought the truck.)

Anyway, I had to call a friend to get me a ride (this was at about midnight, and I work about an hour and a half from home.) I finally get home at about 4:30, get two hours of sleep, and wake up at 6:30 to start getting everything fixed. I had to buy two new tires, and have a realignment. Yay for money out of my pocket. Anyway, all is finished up at about 5:00 PM, and I have to be at work at 5:30.

When I make it to work, I find out that the other two associates that I was supposed to be working with had called out. Here I am, going on two hours of sleep, on a super-busy Saturday night, in the busiest department in the store (Computers). There was much running back and forth and total chaos. :p

Anyway, I made it home safely last night, and open my email to find out that both my flight and hotel reservation for FC had been cancelled. WHAT?! Turns out I had left my credit card that I used to place these two orders at a restaurant I had gone to a few nights before, and some fraudulent charges came up. Luckily, all fraudulent chargers were canceled, and I was not accountable for all that money. Unfortunately, any reservations I held on that card were also canceled (the hotel)  The flight was a result of taking NWA. They have been canceling a huge amount of flights recently, and mine (even though in the distant future) happened to be one of them. All this against me, I think I may have to skip out on Further Confusion next year. Maybe I'll plan on AC08 instead.

All that said, though, things could have been much worse. My truck is all fixed up now (I had some more work done it besides the tires) and ready to take me to Orlando in September for latinvixen02's "Dance Your Fur Off" party. :D

Wow...been a while since I've posted here. <.< *shame*
Stuff has been happening. And some things too!

I will be going to Universal Studios + Islands of Adventure in Orlando with a friend for my birthday on August 9th. It's been FOREVER since I've been there, so I'm super excited.

Speaking of excitement, even though it's forever away, I have also been planning for my first fur con (and truthfully, first con of ANY type), FC'08. I have my hotel reservations made, and I have purchased my (non-refundable <.< ) plane tickets. I will also be making the final payment for my Feros fursuit within a week. I'm sure joecifur is going to do an amazing job on it. :D The thing about this is, I will be traveling from northwest Florida by myself, and will more than likely know no one else attending the con. Anyone want to volunteer to show me the ropes? :p

Then, less than a month after FC is over, I will be heading to my second con, FWA. I have heard great things about this con, and now there is something that is going to make it an even greater time than it would be otherwise. For five years now, I have been a staff member at the official US website for the RPG Maker game series. I was joking around with a few other staff members, saying that we should have a little RPGMM mini-con at FWA. Big surprise: There are two members who I have become good friends with over the course of the past 5 years at the site, that I will be meeting for the first time face-to-face at FWA. w00t!

Hmm...

Anyway, I was planning on making my way cross-country to FC'08 in January, but something came up that coincides DIRECTLY with the convention weekend, and it won't be happening, unfortunately. That said, I will be able to make it to Furry Weekend Atlanta, in February. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you there! (My Feros suit, made by joecifur will also be making it's con debut there.)

In other news, I <3 Best Buy. I got my referral bonus! And only 8 months late! :D

AH, the joys of retail.

So, I am a Rep1 (cashier) at Best Buy. One of my major responsibilities is to sign people up for our Reward Zone card. The Reward Zone is a free points card. For every $250 you spend at any Best Buy store, you will get a $5 gift certificate sent to you.

So I am explaining this to one of our customers, and the first thing they say is "HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?!!"
Many customers miss this when I first explain it to them, so I didn't mind.

'It's completely free, sir."

His reply?

"No, I'm asking you how much the yearly fee is!"

"Sir, there is no fee. There used to be a yearly fee of $10, but that has been stopped. The card is now entirely free, with no fees, ever."

It should have ended here, right? Nope!

"Just tell me how much it costs!"

After explaining that it was free one more time: "No thanks, I'll do it some other time."

*sigh*

After regaining my composure, I call the next customer up to my register.

"I gotta major problem with y'all! I bought this here iPod and needed to return it. Yer customer service representative told me that I would have to get the refund as a check from corporate because I paid by check. She showed me on the back of a roll of receipt paper that that was the return policy, but my receipt said otherwise! You changed the damn paper on me!"

"I am sorry about the problem, sir, but that is our return policy. If you happen to have the receipt in question, though, I will see what I can do."

"...I don't have it, so you can go fuck yourself!" *customer storms out*
